AdNet Advertising

Modernizing a legal-tech agency’s online presence for clarity and accessibility

Project Type

Web Design / Visual Design / Client Collaboration

About the Client

AdNet is an advertising agency that serves immigration attorneys by handling the complex legal requirements around immigration recruitment advertising — including Help Wanted ads and PERM Labor Certification-related services.

My Role

Tools

  • Adobe XD

  • Photoshop

  • Google Docs (spec handoff)

  • Cross-functional collaboration with international development team

  • AdNet’s existing website was extremely text-heavy, lacking hierarchy, structure, and visual rhythm. I was tasked with completely redesigning the site to:

  • Introduce a clean, professional layout suited to a conservative legal audience

  • Make high-priority services and contact options easy to find

  • Establish visual order, rhythm, and brand clarity across the site

The Work

I conducted a UX-lite audit of the existing site and proposed a layout system focused on:

  • Reducing cognitive overload through whitespace and clear sections

  • Creating immediate trust and authority via font choice, subdued color palette, and a hierarchical information structure

  • Improving scannability so law firms could quickly understand AdNet’s services and next steps

I worked directly with the CEO to get feedback on tone, and partnered with a remote overseas developer to ensure proper translation of visual design into front-end code. I created annotated mockups and explained layout logic to bridge our time zones and disciplines.

Outcome

Although the redesign was approved and fully prepared for development, the site never launched due to internal company shifts. Still, this project showcases my ability to:

  • Design within highly regulated, conservative industries

  • Collaborate remotely with international dev teams

  • Balance clarity, visual refinement, and business goals

Why It Matters

I had to bring structure and elegance to a dense, regulation-heavy subject — and make it not just usable, but visually trustworthy. This project highlights my skill in bringing modern design systems into traditionally overlooked or bureaucratic industries.

  • Sole Visual Designer

  • Web Layout & UI System

  • Developer Handoff

  • Stakeholder Approvals
